Description: A resident, fellow or medical student would be welcome to visit the SF Bay area and partner with UCSF Occupational Medicine or work solo with Dr. Jonathan Rutchik, an associate professor at UCSF board certified in both Occupational Medicine and Neurology.

One could partner clinic experiences in one of Dr. Rutchik's offices (he sees patients in industrial medicine in 1 of 5 offices in the SF Bay who are referred for neurology evaluations from repetitive trauma, head, neck or back injuries as well as exposures to metals, solvents and other agents) with writing papers from patients or groups of patients he has seen or the participants will have seen on neurology and toxicology issues.

Note however that such a rotation would not have activities set every day and one option would be to contact UCSF Division of Occupational Medicine to arrange multi-disciplinary rotations that could include neurology and occupational medicine.
